Hello, we are the Lamonts!

Karolina, a Registered Nurse, and Trevor, a Process Operator, are bound by their love for the outdoors and a heartfelt mission to create unforgettable moments for others. They have a great passion for the great out doors. From dirt bikes, downhill mountain bikes, snowmobiles, cross country skiing, paddle boarding or hiking to breathtaking vistas—every adventure ignites their passion for exploration. With courageous hearts, they sold everything to pursue their dream, purchasing and reestablishing Bear Ridge Cabins in Nakusp, BC, their cherished home since Karolina arrived in 2007 and Trevor in 2012. These cabins are more than a destination; they’re a living testament that dreams come true, a sanctuary filled with love where guests become family, sharing in the joy, laughter, and magic of the wilderness and adventure. Welcoming every visitor with boundless enthusiasm is Cleo, their spirited Chihuahua, a bundle of affection who makes every stay even more unforgettable.
