  • We are at 1200 Hot Springs Rd, Nakusp, BC. We are just a 10-minute drive from the famous Nakusp Hot Springs, 25 min drive to Halcyon Hot Springs, and 5 minutes from the shops, public beach, play grounds and dining in downtown Nakusp.

    • Black Bear & Grizzly Cabins: Sleep up to 4 guests (1 Queen bed, 2 Twin XL beds in the loft).

    • Polar Bear Cabin: Sleeps up to 6 guests (2 Queen bedrooms, 2 Twin XL beds in the loft).

  • Yes! All of our cabins are equipped with both heating and air conditioning to keep you comfortable regardless of the season.

    We also have wood Fireplaces in each of our cabins. We supply all the fire wood, kindling, fire starter and lighters.

  • Every cabin features a fully equipped kitchen with an apartment-sized fridge, freezer, microwave, stove, oven and premium kitchenware. We also provide essential seasonings, cooking oil, coffee, tea, sugar, and cream.

    Each cabin has its own BBQ (Propaine is included & BBQ cooking tools ready to start BBQing).

  • Yes, we offer high-speed internet Star Link WiFi and Smart TV in all cabins so you can stay connected (if you want to!).

    Polar Bear Cabin #3 has an AMAZING collection of old school 90’s DVDs in the loft. Nothing like getting cozy and watching Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Family Matters, Friends or Our Lonely Planet.

    Each cabin comes stocked with fun board games …But do not hesitate to bring your along your own favorite games to keep the winning streak alive.

  • We provide high-quality mattresses, bedding, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. You just need to bring your personal items, groceries, and a sense of adventure!

  • Absolutely! We love all pets! There is a pet fee of $25 per night/pet (maximum $100 per stay).

    • Freya’s Legacy: We are proud to donate 100% of our pet fees to Freya’s Legacy Fund, which supports animal welfare and local safety initiatives like AEDs and life jacket stations.

    What are the rules for pets?

    To keep our cabins beautiful for everyone, we ask that:

    • Pets stay off the beds and furniture (we provide "dog sheets" for the sofa just in case!).

    • Pets are never left unattended in the cabin. We offer pet sitting

      $25 per/pet for ½ day

      $50 per/pet for a full day

    • You use the designated pet towels provided.

    • Pets remain on a leash while on the property.

    • No need to sneaking in pets … We want to say hello and provide treats.

  • Yes, each cabin has an outdoor fire pit with both wood and propane options. Please note that wood-burning fireplaces inside the cabins are for winter use only, and outdoor fires are always subject to local fire bans.

  • The lofts are accessed via a sturdy attic-style ladder with hand rails. Because the ladder is steep, we recommend the loft area for guests who are physically mobile and comfortable with climbing.

    The attic-style ladder is rated for 300lbs.

  • All of our cabins are strictly non-smoking which includes vaping or any sort to ensure a fresh environment for all guests.

    Guest are welcome to smoke and vape outside away from children and non-smoking guests.

  • Yes, laundry facilities are available in a separate cabin located on the property for guest use.

    However, to ensure availability and access, you must let us know ahead of time if you wish to use them.

    Are there restrictions on what I can wash?

    To keep our machines in top shape and hygienic for all guests:

    • No pet bedding/blankets are allowed in the machines.

    • No heavily soiled "work clothing" (grease, heavy mud, or industrial debris) is permitted.

    • If you need to wash these items, there is a Laundromat located just a 1-minute drive down the road for your convenience.

  • Usually, we like you to stay a bit longer, but we know sometimes you're just passing through! We do occasionally accommodate one-night stays depending on our schedule.

    • The Catch: You can’t book a single night online. You’ll have to give us a call or pop-on in to see if we can squeeze you in!

    Whether you’re a "press and go" or a "ritual" kind of person, your cabin comes stocked with:

    • The Gear: A standard coffee machine, a French Press for the bold souls, a bean grinder for the freshest scent, and an electric water kettle.

    • The Goods: We provide the coffee, sugar, and cream.

    • Feeling Fancy? If you’re craving a triple-shot-extra-foam-latte, the local coffee shop is just a 4-minute drive away.

    • We also have to-go cup if you are on the run!

    What if I’m more of a "Tea Totaller"? You are in for a treat! We don’t just do the basics. We provide classic Earl Grey, but we also feature Bush Berry Teas—hand-crafted right here in Nakusp by our local tea maker!

    • The Setup: We provide a teapot and a loose-leaf tea infuser so you can brew the perfect cup of local flavor while you watch the morning mist over the ridge.
